This Privacy Policy explains how Buyer Direct Profile LLC, 16192 Coastal Highway, Lewes, Delaware 19958 (“BuyersDirect”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses, and shares information when you visit buyersdirect.co (the “Site”) or use the BuyersDirect membership service (the “Service”).
1. Information We Collect
Information you give us. When you create an account, purchase a membership, submit a product, or contact us, we collect your name, business name, email address, phone number, mailing address, product details and images, and the content of your messages.
Payment information. Payments are processed by Stripe. We receive confirmation of payment, the card brand, the last four digits, and billing details. Full card numbers are handled by Stripe and are never stored on our systems. Stripe’s privacy policy is at stripe.com/privacy.
Information collected automatically. When you use the Site we and our service providers collect your IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, referring pages, dates and times of access, and similar log data, using cookies and similar technologies.
Retail buyer information. The Service includes a directory of independent retail buyers. Buyer contact information in the directory is business information collected from public sources, from the buyers themselves, or from our retail network, and is provided to members solely for presenting products to those buyers.
2. How We Use Information
We use the information we collect to provide and operate the Service, including displaying your products to buyers; to process payments, renewals, and refunds; to create and manage your account and respond to support requests; to send transactional messages such as receipts, renewal reminders, and account notices; to send marketing emails about BuyersDirect and related services, which you can opt out of at any time; to detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and payment disputes; to analyze and improve the Site and Service; and to comply with legal obligations.
3. How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with:
Retail buyers using the Service, who can view the product and business information you choose to submit so they can evaluate and contact you.
Service providers that help us run the Service, including our membership platform (MemberSpace), payment processor (Stripe), web hosting, email delivery, customer support, and analytics providers. These providers may use your information only to perform services for us.
Affiliated businesses. BuyersDirect is operated by the owners of Mr. Checkout Distributors and its retail network. We may share information with these affiliated businesses to operate the Service, place products with retailers, and offer related services.
Legal and safety. We may disclose information when required by law, to respond to legal process, to resolve payment disputes and chargebacks, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of BuyersDirect, our members, buyers, or others.
Business transfers. If we sell or transfer all or part of our business, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
4. Cookies and Analytics
We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you logged in, remember your preferences, understand how the Site is used, and measure the effectiveness of our advertising. We may use tools such as Google Analytics and advertising pixels, which collect information about your activity on the Site. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling cookies may affect parts of the Service, including login.
5. Marketing Communications
You may unsubscribe from marketing emails by using the link at the bottom of any marketing message or by emailing help@buyersdirect.co. You will continue to receive transactional emails about your account and billing while you have a membership.
6. Data Retention
We keep your account and product information for as long as your membership is active and for a reasonable period afterward to handle refunds, disputes, legal obligations, and to restore your account if you return. Payment and transaction records are kept as required by tax and accounting law. You may request deletion of your account information as described below.
7. Your Choices and Rights
You can update your account information at any time by logging in. You may request a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it by emailing help@buyersdirect.co. We will respond within 30 days. Some information may be retained where the law requires it or where it is needed to resolve disputes or enforce our agreements. Residents of states with consumer privacy laws (including California) have the rights described in those laws, including the right not to be discriminated against for exercising them; we do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising as those terms are defined under California law.
8. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and PCI-compliant payment processing through Stripe. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Children
The Service is for businesses and is not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
10. International Users
The Service is operated from the United States. If you access it from outside the U.S., your information will be transferred to and processed in the U.S., where privacy laws may differ from those in your location.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page with a new “Last updated” date and, for material changes, notify active members by email.
